Yes, Opening an account at NAM Securities is entirely free of charge.

There are no charges for maintaining a trading account. However, an annual maintenance charge (AMC) of Rs. 400 plus GST applies to dematerialized accounts (Demat).

You can initiate an off-market transfer to move shares from other Demat Accounts to NAM Demat. Simply fill out the Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) provided by your current broker and submit it to them. Once submitted, the shares will be transferred to NAM within two working days.

Please ensure you have the following documents ready for opening your Account:

  • PAN Card (Proof of Identity)
  • Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driver’s License (Proof of Address)
  • Bank Verification: Cancelled Cheque / Passbook / Screenshot of Savings Account (must include account holder’s name, IFS Code, Branch Address, and Account Number)
  • Income Proof (mandatory for F&O segment):
    • Last 6 months bank statement
    • Latest salary slip
    • Latest DP Holding statement (within 3 months)
    • IT return Acknowledgement or Form 16 (for salaried)
  • Your Photograph
  • Photo of your Signature as on PAN (on a white paper or captured on mobile screen)

Additionally, we verify your mobile number and email address during registration. Please note: Accounts cannot be opened with a PAN that is not linked to Aadhaar as per regulations.
